When we were running our B&B we always thought fresh kiwi would be a great garnish. Unfortunately we found out that the fruit in our area (south-west coast BC) ripen in the late Fall. They actually seem to do better with a light frost. Though too late for our guests, we enjoy kiwi over the Winter months and they are very photogenic.
