Wreckhouse – 2006

So named because of the powerful winds coming off the Long Range Mountains. When the railway used to run through the area, boxcars were known to be blown off the tracks in the hurricane force winds.

    • Thanks Jet! Despite it’s name, Wreckhouse on that particular day was a beautiful peaceful spot. It was wonderful watching the clouds hit the backside of the mountains and then ‘flow’ down the mountainside in front of us.
