Time for some new paints and brushes….a good thing to do on a gloomy day.
Right now I’m busy with my genealogy research – nothing like rifling through death certificates to brighten up a gloomy day!
I had a customer once that was really into genealogy and had traced back over 400 years. Once when we we headed to the UK he gave us names and graveyards in Wales to go to to get pictures for him of family graves. It turned in to quite an adventure. Our oldest son spends a lot of time on ancestry.com .
I’ve been doing it for years but the urge comes and goes. I’ve gone back as far as 1693. Yes, a great demand for headstone photographs as they can provide a lot of missing information and provide clues. Whenever I feel my wife needs to go out on a date I take her photographing in graveyards 😉
It is great to see your paintings. Do you still paint a bit?
Thank you Deb. No, I haven’t painted for quite a few years now.
