Bald Eagle – 2014

Sitting on the deck at our favourite pub last night having dinner when this Bald Eagle flew over with it’s own dinner.

    • No, I don’t think so πŸ˜‰ The pub is on the oceanside with a tidal marsh nearby. The eagles have nested on a bluff above the bay for years, entertaining diners at the pub. They have young now and either hunt for fish or young geese on the shoreline. Entertaining in a macabre sort of way.

  1. Great capture. Moments in the lives of other beings. In the second photo I see an air duel between a raptor and another bird that is probably defending his/her nest.
